Staff cadets from the Royal Military College of Australia, Duntroon, tackle Exercise Shaggy Ridge. Named after a successful World War II campaign on the Kokoda Trail where Australian troops persevered in difficult terrain and with limited supplies, Exercise Shaggy Ridge similarly places cadets under physical and mental duress to test their leadership and decision-making skills.
